Pick at random from a list
Pick one or more items at random (without repeats) from a comma- or line-separated list. Use for raffles, choosing who goes first, or breaking ties fairly.
Inputs
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
items (required) | string | Comma-separated items |
count | integer | How many to pick (default 1) |
Request
Over HTTP, with a card key from /credits:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer adt_…" "https://agent-data-tools.revmesh2074.workers.dev/random/pick?items=Ada%2CAlan%2CGrace%2CLinus"
Or one of your 25 free calls, no key:
curl "https://agent-data-tools.revmesh2074.workers.dev/random/pick?items=Ada%2CAlan%2CGrace%2CLinus&trial=1"
Without a key, the same URL answers 402 Payment Required with x402 and MPP terms, so an agent with a wallet pays per call in USDC (Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Monad, World Chain or Tempo) and retries.
Example result
{
"picked": [
"Grace"
],
"from": 4
}
