MCP server inspector: tools, auth and protocol check
Inspect a remote MCP server over streamable HTTP: whether it answers initialize, its name, version, protocol version and capabilities, whether it needs sign-in (OAuth or another 401 challenge), and its tools with names, titles, descriptions and input parameters, plus prompt and resource counts. Read-only: it lists, never calls a tool. Use to vet an MCP server before adding it to an agent, or to check your own after a deploy.
Inputs
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
url (required) | string | The MCP server's streamable-HTTP URL |
Request
Over HTTP, with a card key from /credits:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer adt_…" "https://agent-data-tools.revmesh2074.workers.dev/mcp/inspect?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmcp.deepwiki.com%2Fmcp"
Or one of your 25 free calls, no key:
curl "https://agent-data-tools.revmesh2074.workers.dev/mcp/inspect?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmcp.deepwiki.com%2Fmcp&trial=1"
Without a key, the same URL answers 402 Payment Required with x402 and MPP terms, so an agent with a wallet pays per call in USDC (Base, Polygon, Arbitrum or Solana over x402; Base or Tempo over MPP) and retries.
