DNS records lookup: A, AAAA, MX, TXT, CNAME, NS and more
Look up DNS records of a domain over DNS-over-HTTPS (Cloudflare 1.1.1.1): A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, SOA, CAA, SRV, PTR, DS, DNSKEY or HTTPS, with each answer's TTL, the response code (NOERROR, NXDOMAIN…) and whether DNSSEC validated. Use to check email (MX, SPF in TXT), verify a domain, or debug a DNS change; for whether the change has spread use dns_propagation.
Inputs
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
name (required) | string | Domain name (or a URL; its host is used) |
type | string | Record type: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, SOA, CAA, SRV, PTR, DS, DNSKEY, HTTPS (default A) |
Request
Over HTTP, with a card key from /credits:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer adt_…" "https://agent-data-tools.revmesh2074.workers.dev/dns/lookup?name=example.com"
Or one of your 25 free calls, no key:
curl "https://agent-data-tools.revmesh2074.workers.dev/dns/lookup?name=example.com&trial=1"
Without a key, the same URL answers 402 Payment Required with x402 and MPP terms, so an agent with a wallet pays per call in USDC (Base, Polygon, Arbitrum or Solana over x402; Base or Tempo over MPP) and retries.
