Fact check, verify a claim: against live web sources
Check a claim against the live web in one call: a Brave search, the top pages read, and a verdict from Llama 4 Scout using those sources only (supported, contradicted, mixed or unverified) with a short explanation, [n] citations and the sources. A model's reading of a few search results, not an editorial fact-check. Results are for immediate use only (Brave API terms). Use to screen a statement before an agent repeats or acts on it.
Inputs
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
claim (required) | string | The claim to check, at most 400 characters |
Request
Over HTTP, with a card key from /credits:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer adt_…" "https://agent-data-tools.revmesh2074.workers.dev/ai/fact-check?claim=The%20x402%20protocol%20uses%20the%20HTTP%20402%20Payment%20Required%20status%20code."
Without a key, the same URL answers 402 Payment Required with x402 and MPP terms, so an agent with a wallet pays per call in USDC (Base, Polygon, Arbitrum or Solana over x402; Base or Tempo over MPP) and retries.
Example result
{
"claim": "The x402 protocol uses the HTTP 402 Payment Required status code.",
"verdict": "supported",
"explanation": "The protocol's own documentation describes servers answering 402 Payment Required with payment terms [1].",
"sources": [
{
"n": 1,
"title": "x402: an open payment protocol",
"url": "https://www.x402.org/"
}
],
"model": "@cf/meta/llama-4-scout-17b-16e-instruct",
"terms": "Results are for the caller's immediate use…"
}
